Obama Finally Gave Trump The Read He Deserves — And It Was Glorious

We knew there was no way Barack Obama was a Trump fan, but eventually we'll hear how he really feels
For much of Donald Trump's presidency, his predecessor Barack Obama remained frustratingly quiet. We knew there was no way the former president was okay with anything the new one was doing, but he has largely stayed away from publicly criticizing anyone in office. Until now, that is. The 44th POTUS is making the campaign path for its Vice President Joe Biden and for once it lets go of his true thoughts about Donald Trump.
At a drive-in rally in Philadelphia, Obama attacked Trump's work (or lack of it) in the Oval Office, but also carried out some blistering personal attacks targeting the president's cronyism, lack of moral fiber and falling TV ratings rallies aimed at its events.
"I never thought that Donald Trump would accept my vision or continue my policies, but in the interests of the country I was hoping that he would show some interest in taking the job seriously," Obama said. "But it didn't happen. He has shown no interest in doing the job or helping anyone other than himself and his friends."
And when he realized that Trump had inherited a booming economy from him, Obama added, but "just like everything else he's inherited, he screwed it up."
One of the first things Obama targeted was Trump's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which killed more than 220,000 people in the United States. Trump said there was "not much" that he would change about his actions.
"Really?" Obama said. "Not much? Nothing you can think of could have helped some people keep loved ones alive?"
People honked and cheered from their cars as Obama continued, “This is not a reality show - this is reality. Four years ago you would be closing a tailgate here instead of watching a speech from your car. "
Another issue that Obama raised is Trump's handling of the economy - "I understand this president wants full credit for the economy he inherited and no blame for the pandemic he ignored" - his Twitter- Habits - "You know what? The job doesn't work that way. Tweeting on TV doesn't fix anything" - and the secret bank account messages just revealed that he works in China.
"How is that possible? A secret Chinese bank account," Obama asked. "Look, can you imagine that I had a secret Chinese bank account when I ran for re-election? You think Fox News was a little worried about that "You would have called me Beijing Barry."
Obama's argument during his speech was pretty clear: "We can't afford this Philadelphia four more years," he said. "We can vote for change."
This change affects Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who both have the support and support of the former president. He said he came to admire Joe as a man who learned early on to treat everyone he met with dignity and respect.
In another argument with Trump, Obama added that Biden and Harris "would never call the men and women of our military morons and losers."
"It just won't be that stressful," Obama said of a Biden presidency. As voters, we "don't have to think about the crazy things ... and that's worth a lot".
We can't say more.
