Companies are trying to get employees back into the office. Visits to office buildings in employment hubs as big as San Francisco, Manhattan and Chicago have yet to catch up to pre-pandemic levels, according to a new report from Placer.ai. In May 2022, visits to San Francisco office buildings fell by 67.8% compared to three years ago, before the pandemic shut down most of the country.
