Oh Mama! Shelter Rescues Three Pregnant Dogs and Gives Each One Their Own Maternity Shoot

Mother knows best and she looks best too.
Three pregnant bitches showed the glamorous side of dog pregnancy with their own maternity sprouts. The trio of dog mothers was rescued by Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, a nonprofit organization that enables pet adoption in Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland, and finds homes for dogs and cats that were rescued from low-income rural animal shelters or whose owners didn't can take care of them longer.
After being placed in the care of the group, the three mothers Shelly, Sassy and Fiona were each taken to a nursing home. In order to raise awareness and potential interest in adoption for the pregnant bitches and their upcoming puppies, their foster parents have put together maternity photos for each dog.
According to Homeward Trails, Shelly was rescued after she was dumped in a rural Georgia shelter. She was saved by the nonprofit organization and taken to a nursing home just two days before the birth of 10 puppies.

Fortunately, Shelly's foster parents could fit into a stunning maternity shoot with little details and a lot of praise in those two days, making Shelly feel special. The dog mother and her litter are doing well and they should be ready for adoption in 6 weeks.

Sassy's foster parents are particularly interested in raising interest in their current puppy. The 14-year-old young mother came into her care after being dumped at another animal shelter because she was too old and too pregnant.

Despite this abuse, Sassy happily gave birth to 12 healthy puppies in her nursing home. Sassy's current caretaker hopes her maternity shoot will help the older dog find the home she deserves after taking 12 small lives in the world. Sassy and her puppies will be available for adoption in about 7 weeks.

Finally, Fiona is. This little angel dog was found abandoned on the side of the road, but thankfully moved to a loving nursing home that treats the mother like a queen while waiting for her puppies. Once the puppies are born, Sassy and her puppies are available for adoption 8 weeks after birth, as long as everyone is healthy.
