Pat Robertson Tells Trump: 'You've Had Your Day And It's Time To Move On'
Pat Robertson has an unexpected message for President Donald Trump: he should forget to overturn the elections.
On Monday at The 700 Club, the evangelical leader and former Republican presidential candidate discussed Trump's slim and unrealistic chances of undoing President-elect Joe Biden's victory and suggested that the president face reality.
Robertson praised Trump's ability to raise money and attract crowds, but also said the president "lives in an alternate reality," adding, "He's not lying - to him, that's the truth."
Robertson then admitted that Trump is "very unpredictable," which makes dealing with him "a mixed bag" before suggesting that President's day be over.
"I think it will be good to say, 'You had your day and it's time to move on," he said.
While Robertson admitted that Biden would be the next president, he didn't sound confident that the president-elect would be in office long: “I also think we won't see President Kamala Harris too long after the inauguration of President Biden. "
Robertson's full comments can be found here:
The fact that a senior evangelical leader actually suggested Trump move on didn't go unnoticed on Twitter.
