Patriots players had telling reactions to idea of playing vs. Broncos

Pats players shied away from the thought of playing Broncos on Monday, originally at NBC Sports Boston
Our Tom E. Curran reported earlier this week that the New England Patriots were irritated by the NFL's approach to COVID-19 and player safety.
That anger came to a head on Sunday morning.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported early Sunday that the Patriots' facility had closed after a new positive COVID-19 test, the fourth in eight days.
Report: Patriots-Broncos have moved to next Sunday
Schefter also reported that despite that positive test, the NFL wanted to play Patriots-Broncos on Monday. A quick look through Twitter reveals that some Patriots players didn't think Monday was a very good idea.
The Patriots only practiced once this week - a complete fix on Saturday - after the league closed its facility Wednesday through Friday due to positive COVID-19 tests from Bill Murray and Stephon Gilmore.
An anonymous Patriots player mentioned that NFL Network's Mike Giardi was under-prepared on Sunday.
Patriots cornerback Jason McCourty recently questioned whether the NFL really cares about player safety and it seems some of his teammates share that skepticism.
The NFL finally postponed the Patriots-Broncos game on Monday and is said to have postponed it until next Sunday. But even if the league hadn't postponed the game, it seems like some players are ready to make a bold decision.
