Pelosi Says Stimulus Talks at Impasse; Trump Blames Pelosi: Report

Democratic House spokeswoman Nancy Pelosi said Sunday that talks on a new stimulus package are stalling, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
Pelosi said the Trump administration's $ 1.8 trillion proposal is still under-funded and has no plan for national testing and contact tracing, the WSJ reported.
Meanwhile, President Trump has put the House Speaker in charge of the raid: "The Republicans want to do it. We have a hard time with Nancy Pelosi, "the WSJ quoted the president on Sunday in Fox News.
But yesterday it was reported that some in the GOP were unwilling to support the president's proposal, but instead were in favor of a much smaller package.
Additionally, the White House proposal would expand the provisions of the Affordable Care Act to include people who lost their jobs - and thus their insurance - during the pandemic. With many in the GOP trying to abolish the ACA, the proposal to expand it is problematic, to say the least, the WSJ said.
Why This Matters in the Crypto World: Bitcoin (BTC) prices have risen this year as investors bet that trillions of dollars in government and central bank spending around the world in response to the coronavirus-induced slowdown will inevitably lead to inflation and therefore Be positive for cryptocurrency.
With that in mind, the price of BTC could rise as a result, should both sides reach an agreement on a package to fight pandemics.
In the last trade, BTC was trading at $ 11,425, up 0.43% over the past 24 hours.
