Penny Oleksiak throws shade at teacher who told her to stop swimming

There is one high school teacher in Canada who is probably watching the Olympics and feeling like he is screwed up in the moment.
I'm saying this because Canada's best decorated Olympian Penny Oleksiak tweeted this Tuesday:
I just Googled Canada's Best Decorated Olympian and my name came up. I want to thank the teacher in high school who told me to stop swimming to focus on school because swimming wouldn't get me anywhere. This is what dreams are made of.
Talk about a freezing cold shot!
And before all the teachers feel attacked, just know that Oleksiak did not mean this as a humiliation of the profession as a whole, but only that one particular educator who gave her objectively bad advice.
I can understand teachers advising students to give up unhealthy habits in order to focus more on school, but telling someone to stop swimming, especially if they are very good at sports, is not a good suggestion.
Oleksiak is a seven-time Olympic medalist and has represented Canada in both Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. She won one gold, two silver and four bronze medals at the two summer games.
