People Are Tweeting Their Favorite Obama Memories On Trump’s 74th Birthday

People share unforgettable moments of Obama's presidency online instead of celebrating Trump's birthday
Apparently today is Donald Trump's 74th birthday. However, for many on social media, June 14, 2020 has become an unofficial holiday to celebrate the best of former President Barack Obama.
While Trump and his government are celebrating another year on this planet, those who don't want to honor him on his special day have decided to keep the # ObamaDayJune14th trend. The movement was to flood social media with pictures and quotes from beloved Barack Obama to remind when an actual president ruled our country.

There were pictures of Obama dealing only with Americans in a way that all reminded him of his strength, humility, grace, and compassion:

In the past few weeks, after the death of George Floyd and the abuse of nationwide protests against systemic racism and police brutality, the Trump administration has been under fire because of a variety of missteps and dangerous news. After briefly addressing Floyd's death, Trump made a spectacle of himself by gassing with tears and shooting rubber bullets into a lot of peaceful protests for a photo with a Bible in front of a church.
Trump's inability to bring comfort and hope to a clearly divided country was also shown this week when he withdrew patient protection for transgender people in a series of guidelines that should affect their health care, education, and employment opportunities.
Right now it makes sense that the world is looking for positive images that arouse hope. For many, this is the embodiment of Barack Obama.

Many of the photos shared show how Obama goes hand in hand with other Americans as Trump continues to split the nation with its rhetoric and inflammatory messages.

Others shared powerful messages Obama gave us during his presidency, including one that said, “I will be with you as a citizen for all of my remaining days. I have one last question for you as your President. I ask you to believe. Not in my ability to make changes - but in yours. "

Thank you to the President, who gave the nation self-respect and moral compass and who, more personally, gave us our health care, our marriage, and a daily reminder of the kind of strength, integrity, and decency we should all strive for. # ObamaDayJune14th

Knowing Trump's fragile ego, it is only a matter of time before he replies to #Obamaday with a childish tweet that shows again how little contact he has with what is happening in the country he lives in.
