Porsche Panamera refresh is getting a bigger, meaner front grille

Although the Porsche Panamera has just received a notable update for the 2021 model year, the company appears to be working on another update. One of our spy photographers captured this limousine variant with a significantly redesigned front panel.
The special thing about it is how big and open the grille is. When looking at the shape, the center section protrudes higher than the current Panamera and is taller than the outboard sections. It is reminiscent of the current Macan design. There are also few slender louvers in the grille, and the thick sections that divide the openings are painted black to blend in. Together they give this Panamera a huge, angry-looking bezel. Another interesting detail are the vertical running lights on the edges of the grille. They're well hidden under camouflage vinyl, but small holes are opened to let some light through.
Otherwise, the rest of the car looks something like the current model. Our spy photographer found that the inside was well covered so there may be some changes inside. But with most of the car geared towards procrastination, there probably won't be a lot of changes under the skin, especially since Porsche has just updated the entire drivetrain range except for the base Panamera.
