Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia celebrate their love twice!
After marrying in a traditional Nigerian legal and custom ceremony on Friday, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 41, and the Nigerian-born businessman, 57, tied the knot again on Saturday in a second American wedding in Atlanta planned by Eliana Baucicault from Elly B Events.

The day began at a Methodist church with 350 guests including fellow Housewives stars Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Monyetta Shaw, Kandi Burruss, Drew Sidora and Cynthia Bailey. Comedian Rickey Smiley, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta native Karlie Redd, married to Medicine's Quad Webb, Basketball Wives' Jennifer Williams and musician T.I. and Mrs. Tiny Harris were also present.
As Williams walked down the aisle in a white lace Frida ball gown with her brother Hosea Williams III, singer Tasha Cobbs sang Leonard "For Every Mountain" with a gospel choir and 40-piece orchestra.

"I definitely want the Lord to be in that place," Williams told PEOPLE ahead of their wedding. “I want the Holy Spirit to lead us to be husband and wife. I'm from the south so I love going to church. I've never been married in a church and Simon has never been married in a church, so it's going to be a new experience for both of us."

Although they also had a ceremony the night before, the couple waited to exchange their wedding rings until they met at the altar on Saturday.
"We call each other 'husband' and 'wife' all the time, but now it's official, so I think I'm going to cry," Williams said. "Simon says he won't cry but he used to cry at home just talking about our relationship so I think he will cry. I think we have an silent bet.”
To win the "silent bet," Guobadia said he would bring "sunglasses" to the altar.

"Crying? No, that doesn't happen to a Beninese!" joked Guobadia, who grows up in Benin City in Nigeria's Edo state.

Joining the couple on the big day was William's bridal party, consisting of her sister Lauren, who served as her maid of honor, her best friend Shamea Morton, who served as her matron of honor, and her bridesmaids.
Williams' daughter Pilar Jhena, 3, with ex Dennis McKinley and Guobadia's children also played a special role at the ceremony. (Guobadia has children Quentin, Nicole, Christian, Benjamin, and Ximena from previous marriages.)
"Pilar is going to be a flower girl and her dress is so cute I could have copied it for a wedding dress," Williams said. "Then my niece Baleigh, my sister's daughter, will be another flower girl. Our daughter Ximena will be a junior bridesmaid. Our sons Christian and Benjamin will lead my grandmother to the altar. Simon's eldest son, Quentin, will lead him to the altar."

After the ceremony, Williams donned an Albina Dyla gown for her reception ball at the St. Regis Atlanta. The room was decorated in cream and nude colors. There, guests were also treated to a surprise performance by R&B group Dru Hill.
"I really wanted to hear the song 'Beauty Is Her Name,'" Williams said. "I've always thought about putting on a wedding dress and dancing to it. And then my husband said, 'Beauty is her name.' I love Dru Hill and I'm so glad the whole group is back together."
Williams said the cake at the front desk will be "so big" that she would need a "sword" to cut it.
"If Extra was a bride, I would be," she said, laughing. "I promise you I didn't know I was such an extra."

Williams made two more changes throughout the rest of the night: first for the bouquet toss and then again for the after party. She also changed her wigs for each outfit, all from her brand Go Naked.
"I thought, 'Why not? It's my last wedding forever,'" she said.

As on Friday, the couple asked guests to unplug for the duration of the celebration.
"This is important to me because I've had another big event in my life before and all I can remember are lights flashing and photos being taken every single minute," said Williams, who was previously married. “I really want people to be in the moment. That guest list, everyone there was handpicked by the two of us. These are people we care about, these are people we love, people who have supported us, and we really want them to feel their energy there and we celebrate our love together."
Williams and Guobadia's Friday ceremony was all about celebrating the couple's shared Nigerian ancestry. They were accompanied by 250 guests at the Four Seasons Atlanta.
Since announcing their engagement in May 2021 after a month of dating, Williams said she "knew" she wanted to "honor" Guobadia's culture at her wedding.
"I looked up various things about an Edo bride, about the Benin culture, about their ceremonies, just so I'm not completely green," she said. "I wanted to make sure I was as respectful as possible because I didn't want to do anything that wasn't in the tradition, in their culture. So I had to be very, very serious, and I was very keen that every detail should be authentic to their culture. I learned a lot."
Guobadia said it all came naturally to Williams. "For starters, I was so excited and frankly surprised that she wanted to do it the traditional way because you don't hear that every day," he said. "To embrace my culture and want to get married that way is something that blows my mind. I think some of the people that we brought to help us with the whole ceremony and the whole process were surprised that she already knew so much about the outfits, the clothes, the names and all that. She's into the Culture immersed, I would say last year.

What she's most looking forward to about married life, Williams said, is that she'll officially call Guobadia her "husband."
"It's just going to be, 'My husband, my husband, my husband,'" she said. "I'll annoy everyone! It's our last marriage, okay? We belong Together. That's it. It is a blessing to be able to find your person.
However, the honeymoon is just around the corner - the plans that Guobadia is still keeping secret as a surprise to Williams.
"He won't tell me where we're going," she said. "All he has told me is that we will be gone for about 10 days and that it is in a hot place. He said my assistant knows how to grab me and that's all I need to know. I said, 'Okay! '"
