Pregnant Brittany Cartwright Fires Back at Body Shamers
Brittany Cartwright has no time for body shamers.
The Vanderpump Rules alum, pregnant with their first child with husband Jax Taylor, visited their Instagram story on March 4th to share their latest maternity photos - as well as a message for those who like negativity on their social media feed bring in. She wrote, "If you are a person who comments negatively on a pregnant woman's body then you, my friend, haillll be raw. Respectfully."
The reality star, who recently announced she is leaving the long-running Bravo series that is currently being suspended, has previously spoken of nasty comments on her pregnancy photos. In December she wrote on Instagram: "I put this in my story, but guess what? I deserve to be proud of posting this. I'm so proud of my body for creating my son. I've had days that I left negative comments on. " Strangers bring me down, but WHY? I'm growing a perfect and healthy person I've only dreamed of all my life. "

She continued, "I will give my body the respect it deserves and scream from the rooftops how happy and blessed I am to experience this pregnancy. (Even though I'm 25 weeks old and I'm still sick every day." ) lol I feel very lucky and emotional to have this opportunity to be a mother and I will no longer allow trolls to affect my happiness. "

Fortunately, the new pregnancy pictures brought a lot of love to Brittany too. The former SUR waitress shared some positive news she received from friends about her Instagram story, including one from Kristen Doute, co-star of Vanderpump Rules, who wrote, "You beautiful girl and body. I can can't wait to meet my new nephew! "

Brittany also celebrated the photos of her wearing the same shoes and earrings she wore during her TV wedding to Jax in 2019. "Just Me & My Boy," she wrote in the headline of her Instagram post. "I'm so proud of my body that I created my son!"
