Prince William spoke about mental health in sports in two new video calls and discussed the issue with a number of sports stars.
He unveiled a new room in Note Hall, the country house he shares with Kate Middleton and their three children.
The decor is surprisingly bold, with forest green walls, dark wood furniture, and large paintings with gold frames.
Prince William and Kate Middleton's country house, Note Hall, was exhibited like never before during the closure in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, while the Cambridges are making their royal engagements inside of Zoom. How hello! The couple opted for a fairly quiet decor in most of the rooms it revealed. The walls are painted cream, white and sage green, and the wall hangings are small and subtle.
However, in two recent video calls about mental health in sports, William spoke from a previously invisible room with a much bolder decor. As a stark contrast to other rooms in Note Hall, the walls are painted in a deep forest green, while the furniture is made of dark wood and a great painting with a gold frame hangs on the wall.
William first spoke to members of the Arsenal football club about mental health in sport, including players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Héctor Bellerín, before discussing the topic with a wide range of British sporting legends, including football player Alex Scott and swimmer Ellie Simmonds.
"Through the heads-up campaign, the football community has joined forces to make a contribution to lasting change by encouraging people to open up to their mental wellbeing while at the same time anchoring a sane culture in all sports," said William. like the independent reports. "I believe that together we can do more to ensure that this is repeated throughout the sport."
"We have a unique opportunity to use the pandemic tragedy to bring about positive change," continued the Duke of Cambridge. "When the sports world returns, it is important that we talk about the mental well-being of our athletes and fans."
