Princess Beatrice’s Velvet Dress, Sheer Tights & Booties Follow Royal Style Rules

Princess Beatrice kept up with regal style practices this week as she went to London for dinner with a friend.
When the member of the royal family left the Connaught hotel on Thursday night, they showed their chic fashion sense in a velvety maje dress. Although the style has now sold out, it once sold for $ 315 on the brand's website.
To keep warm in the cooler British weather, the princess wore semi-transparent black tights. While legwear may seem like an everyday move, it is actually a Queen Elizabeth favorite; While bare legs may not be prohibited under royal protocol, it is considered respectful and appropriate to wear pantyhose and legwear under shorter hems, especially around elderly members of the royal family.
To round off her fall ensemble, Princess Beatrice opted for a set of classic black ankle boots. Her particular pair featured a round toe silhouette with a casual suede upper. A curved block heel rounds off the design and enables a more stable step than a stiletto or kitten heel.
Throughout her life in the royal spotlight, Princess Beatrice has maintained a consistent style of effortless class. The outfits are always accentuated by outstanding hats and fascinations and include everything from custom-made Ralph & Russo suits with matching pumps from the brand to Alaïa soft dresses and velvet platform pumps. The member of the royal family last tied the knot with today's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in the Queen Mary Diamond tiara with fringes and a dress by Norman Hartnell. Her wedding shoes came in the form of Valentino's glittery pumps.
