Rachel Zoe's son, 9, hospitalized after falling from ski lift in Colorado
Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe shared the harrowing story of her 9-year-old son who fell off a ski lift in Colorado over the weekend.
The incident, which occurred in the Aspen area on Sunday afternoon, sent her son Skyler to the hospital where he was being treated for minor injuries, Zoe wrote in an Instagram story on Monday.
"Sky fell 40 feet off a ski lift yesterday, which could easily have been prevented if the driver had stopped the lift when he saw that Sky wasn't on from the start," said Zoe. She added that the ski operators ignored her husband's screams Rodger Berman to stop the elevator.

Jeff Hanle, a spokesman for the Aspen Skiing Company, told NBC News in a statement that ski staff responded to a report of a child hanging on a ski lift in Buttermilk Ski Resort - better known as a frequent host of the ESPN Winter X Games.
“The resort staff were able to put a number of pads under the chair. The boy was released and fell about 20 feet onto the pads below where the ski patrol was on site, ”Hanle said.
Zoe said she and her husband were "shocked and deaf" but it was a "miracle" that their son was alive and called the ski rescue team "heroes".
She thanked them for their support and asked fans and friends to show their children a little more love in honor of his survival.
"Sky was braver than the two of us and we just kiss, hug and stare at him," she said. "Give your babies a special hug from us today."
