Ree Drummond Celebrates Her Foster Son Jamar's Latest Success!
On Friday, the 52-year-old The Pioneer Woman star shared a photo of Jamar on Instagram before graduating from high school.
Standing next to a decorated billboard with a series of photos, Jamar smiled for the solo picture while wearing a University of Central Oklahoma t-shirt. The athlete will play football for the university in the fall semester of 2021.
"Someone is graduating today! And here are the emojis that describe how I feel about it right now: ??????? ????," wrote Drummond next to the snapshot. "(Thanks for listening. And congratulations, Jamar !! ❤️)."

Earlier this year, Drummond announced in a social media post that Jamar will be attending the UCO, where he is "officially obliged to play football". "I'm so proud of him and thankful for his friends, coaches and the community who have supported him in countless ways," wrote Drummond.
In addition to her warm caption, the star shared a photo with Jamar wearing a "UCO FOOTBALL" hoodie. The second snapshot in her post was a "pre-pat-on-the-back" from [her husband] Ladd, but it sure conveyed our joy, "she added.
"And I'm grateful to Jamar himself for his hard work, dedication and presence in our family," continued Drummond in her post, which was featured on the football team's Instagram story. "Go Jamar and #ROLLCHOS! (Is anyone chopping onions here?)

In an excerpt from her book Frontier Follies, published last November, the Food Network star revealed that she and her husband Ladd had become foster parents a year and a half ago.
"Jamar's circumstances came to us in ways we could not ignore," Drummond wrote in part.
"Also, I never wanted to give Jamar more attention than he wanted or needed before he had a chance to navigate our house," added Drummond.
The star chef, who is also the mother of Alex, Paige, Bryce, and Todd, said caring wasn't something she'd thought about before, but decided to go after Ladd Jamar met Pawhuska during soccer practice in her hometown.
