"Borat 2" star Sacha Baron Cohen responded on Friday to Rudy Giuliani's view that his scene in the film was "a complete invention".
"Well, I'd say if the president's attorney finds out what he's done appropriately there, heaven knows what he's done with other journalists in hotel rooms," Cohen told Good Morning America.
Cohen also said he was in a hiding place that the production created for that interview scene so that he could monitor what happened.

We now have Sacha Baron Cohen's version of the most talked-about scene in his new film "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm".
The film ends with the actress, who plays Borat's daughter in the film Maria Bakalova, and tries to have an inappropriate encounter with Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal attorney. It is crowned by a moment when it looks like Giuliani has his hands in his pants.
Giuliani has since tweeted that the scene was a "rival manufacture" and that he "put on my shirt after taking off the recorder".
Cohen replied to Giuliani's tweet in an interview on Good Morning America on Friday.
"Well, I would say that if the president's lawyer finds out what he's done appropriately there, heaven knows what he's done to other journalists in hotel rooms," he said. "I just ask everyone to watch the movie. It is what it is. He did what he did. Make up your own mind. It was pretty clear to us."
Bakalova, who sat next to Cohen during the "GMA" interview, turned to Cohen and said, "Thank you because I was sure that you would save me from everything."
Cohen then announced that a hiding place was being built in the suite where the Giuliani interview was taking place so the star could look closely, as he was "quite concerned" with Bakalova.
"We built a hiding place that I would hide in during the scene," he said. "I monitored it via text. It is also my responsibility as a producer to make sure that the lead actor is looked after."
"Borat Subsequent Moviefilm" is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
