September 18 Rally Will Prohibit Pro-Trump Clothing

The former Trump campaigner, who organized the Justice for J6 rally on Saturday in support of those charged with Capitol riot-related crimes, has asked attendees not to wear clothing in support of former President Trump or President To wear Biden.
Matt Braynard, the organizer of the event, wrote in a tweet on Tuesday that attendees shouldn't display symbols that support Trump or Biden as the rally is “100% about # JusticeforJ6 and not about the election or a candidate “Acts.
"Anyone who does not comply will be considered an intruder and we will take your picture, find out who you are and make you famous," he added.
Around 700 people are expected, according to a forecast by a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official.
Officials are preparing for the rally by taking additional security measures around the Capitol. The U.S. Capitol Police have agreed to the department's request to put temporary fences back around the Capitol a day or two before the event.
If "everything goes well," it will come "very soon after," Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger told reporters on Monday. The department has also issued an emergency statement to allow the force to act outside law enforcement as "special" Capitol cops during the rally.
According to an internal Capitol Police memo received by CNN, police officers are reportedly preparing for potential rioting at the demonstration after violent rhetoric surrounding the rally online has failed. Capitol Police and law enforcement agencies are preparing for some of the protesters to be armed, a source told the Associated Press, according to reports.
The Metropolitan Police Department is overseeing and evaluating event planning and will be increasing its presence in Washington, D.C., The Hill reported.
Meanwhile, DHS Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence Readiness Melissa Smislova told NBC News that the department has been monitoring publicly available information about protesters, approving requests for large gatherings and hotel reservations in an effort to gauge how many protesters will attend the event.
