Sharon Osbourne Just Called Out Prince Harry's White Privilege & It's Not a Good Look
Oh Sharon Osbourne - have you learned anything? In an attempt to save her reputation after defending Piers Morgan and his continued racist remarks about Meghan Markle, the former co-host of The Talk managed to get out of her first public interview since leaving the TV show and looked worse. In a real-time interview with Bill Maher on Friday night with Bill Maher, Osbourne quickly denied claims she was a racist while choosing (again) to defend Morgan before describing her former co-hosts Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete who had recently come across allegations that Osbourne used racial slurs while on The Talk - as "angry ladies". But that is not all. Osbourne then decided that beating up Prince Harry for his "white privilege" was a wise decision, disproving the idea that racism contributed to the overall poor treatment of Markle by the royal family. Needless to say, there was a lot to see.
While Morgan had previously claimed the Duchess of Sussex lied about experiencing racism as a royal member, Osbourne felt it best to add her own two cents now. "You are notoriously not huggy," said Osbourne Mahler of the Royals, adding to the Queen, "I see, because of her age. She comes from a different generation." Hmm ... the family's unfortunate treatment of the Duchess as easy Coming from "another generation" is a strange way of apologizing for racism. Not to mention that the royals are from a "different generation" and conveniently ignore their colonial ties that are rooted in racism.

“Do you know when they say white privileges? You know, right there with Harry. Exactly there. He's the figurehead, ”said Osbourne. "So you know, he sits there and says papa cut him off and he has no more wages and he was playing around about it." It's important to note that Prince Harry, disappointed with the troubling questions about Archie's skin tone and left with no security details despite death threats getting in the way of his family, isn't making a big fuss.
Osbourne went on, “There's no empathy for that. Because you're a healthy, bright, educated young man.” She added, “You can do what you want. Your life is your own. "One could argue that Osbourne's ability to have a career despite the alarming allegations made against her would be exactly the definition of white privilege.

As Osbourne says, it's hard to feel empathy for someone who doesn't see the extent of their privilege, and it's clear that she still doesn't understand.
