Social Reactions: Best tweets in response to report that Oklahoma is looking at the SEC

The college football landscape was rocked to the core on Wednesday. Reports surfaced that the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns were planning to attend the Southeastern Conference. You would be playing against former Big 12 enemies Texas A&M and Missouri once again.
Several reports have followed since this story was published. According to Brandon Marcello of 247Sports, both schools have been trying to leave the conference for some time.
According to the source, there have been rumors in recent months of Oklahoma and Texas kicking the tires and discussing a move away from the Big 12.
Al.com's John Talty has also confirmed Marcello's report.
What I can add to the Houston Chronicle report: Belief is that Texas and Oklahoma have already taken steps to facilitate an excerpt from the Big 12 and the SEC is the desired landing site: https://t.co/M5UGdZYPee

Then we have the current Texas A&M Sports Director, Ross Bjork. ESPN recently released its comments regarding Oklahoma and Texas joining the SEC conference as they did less than a decade ago. His comments seemed very uncertain about the accession of their domestic rivals.

A lot more will come to light in the coming days, but at this point no one seems to be discussing anything else. Almost fitting that the news broke moments before Aggies' head coach Jimbo Fisher was due to take the podium at SEC Media Day.

The SEC source tells me that it "takes a majority vote" to add Texas, OU to the SEC.

Moving from Texas to the SEC would be a big blow to the Alamo Bowl.

So Texas A&M left the Big 12 to get out of the shadows of Texas and Oklahoma, only to fly in the shadows of Alabama…. and maybe soon Texas and Oklahoma.

Several of us have asked SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey several times here in Hoover about the OU-Texas rumors. Each of his answers was a variation of "We're just focusing on the 2021 season".
