Solskjaer: De Gea is the best in the world – but Henderson will be Man Utd No.1

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Dean Henderson will be Manchester United's future number one, but insists David de Gea is the best goalkeeper in the world.
De Geas Form has been under close scrutiny over the past two seasons and was responsible for each of the last two Premier League goals conceded by the Red Devils.
The Spain international saw a 1-1 draw from Dominic Calvert-Lewin in a 1-1 draw against Everton in March and was unable to stop a Steven Bergwijn shot last Friday when United held on to the same goal line against Tottenham a severe hit led to criticism from former captains Roy Keane and Gary Neville.
In contrast, Henderson has had success during a loan period at Sheffield United, which is expected to extend to the rest of the late 2019-20 season and could be extended to 2020-21.
Solskjaer has no doubt that Henderson has the potential to secure a place in the first team at Old Trafford in the future, but has no reason to doubt De Gea for now.
"David is the best goalkeeper in the world," United manager told reporters Tuesday. "He conceded two goals in games against City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Everton. We have made a clean sheet run.
"Of course, Everton is a freak. He can't save [against Spurs]. He saves great, he wins games for us, I still think he's the best goalkeeper in the world. He makes no mistakes. You see over and over again I'm very happy with his work.
"I speak to David but he has been with Man United for nine years and has become a mature goalkeeper, for me the best goalkeeper in the world. He has had fantastic seasons and I don’t think it’s a bad run, two goals to collect. " in seven games against the teams we played against. He is a mentally very strong goalkeeper. "
Solskjaer expects the formalities for Henderson's loan extension to be completed shortly, and is pleased that his time with the blades "went the way we wanted".
"Playing for Sheffield United and Manchester United is a different job," said Solskjaer. "He has different roles and for me the two years he spent was fantastic for his development. He played with and against men, played in the championship and now plays behind a team that plays exciting football.
"And the statistics show that he saved a few points with his saves. He is constantly learning, he is a passionate goalkeeper, he is developing, he has good coaching there and for me one day he will be England number one and United Number one and he needs to develop. "
Solskjaer's men face Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
