Steelers HC Mike Tomlin plans to address JuJu Smith-Schuster’s TikTok dances
For a second straight week, the pre-game TikTok dances caught the attention of the opposing team from Pittsburgh Steeler's broad receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. And this week Smith-Schuster was at the wrong end of karma when Cincinnati Bengal's safety Vonn Bell rocked him in midfield and forced Smith-Schuster to fumble.
Steeler's head coach Mike Tomlin raised the issue with the media on Wednesday and Tomlin eventually said he would discuss it with Smith-Schuster, but downplaying it doesn't affect opposition motivation.
I'm glad Tomlin is bringing this up. However, don't be shocked if little changes. As long as Tomlin continues to downplay it, it will inspire the opposition to pursue Smith-Schuster a little harder. It's impossible to know how much these dances change the outcome of games, but you can't deny the irony of how things went on Monday.
