Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger with a shot at the media over his retirement

Ben Roethlisberger is currently in his 17th season as starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He holds every franchise-passing record in franchise history and is a first-choice Hall of Famer. I suppose we have to give him a pass if he gets a little bit conflicted with the media, if the subject, when he wants to hang it.
Roethlisberger has nobody but himself to blame for being scrutinized this season. His play has taken a nosedive in the last few weeks and after venting his frustration about his play in a post-game interview, he only opens the door to speculation.
The Steelers have to play better in these last two games of the season and it all starts with Roethlisberger. Nobody wants to admit when they're in decline, especially when it hurts the team. Hopefully all of this testing will work to the Steelers' benefit and inspire Roethlisberger to play better.
