Steelers shuffle roster spots ahead of Sunday’s game
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced a series of squad changes ahead of their game with the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday to accommodate injured and now healthy players.
Pittsburgh raised kicker Matthew Wright from the training team to the 53-man squad. This certainly casts doubt on Chris Boswell's availability this week as he deals with a groin injury.
The Steelers have also added linebacker Tegray Scales to the active roster. This means he will be the fourth outside linebacker on the depth chart this week should Ola Adeniyi fail to leave.
Ultimately, the Steelers did without the offensive guard Durwin Gray. Gray had played last week, but with the return of Kevin Dotson, Gray will be dispensable for the time being.
Another injured Steelers of concern is linebacker / security Marcus Allen. Pittsburgh doesn't have to raise anyone if Allen can't leave thanks to the return of Vince Williams.
