Steve Kerr explains why Warriors miss Kelly Oubre in rotation

Kerr explains why Warriors miss the Injured Oubre in Rotation, which originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea
Kelly Oubre's contributions to the Warriors rotation have been sorely missed, Warriors coach Steve Kerr stated on Friday.
"The fact is Kelly is one of our sportiest players, he's a great size on the wing, he can play multiple courts so we miss all of that, no question about it," Kerr told 95.7 The Game. "His injury was obviously really unfortunate for him and for us. But it's only part of the business so you just absorb it and move on and the good thing is we had people who really rose between Juan and Mychal. Mulder plays well "Kent Bazemore on the grid was excellent, has a great competitive spirit and defensive ball pressure so we get really good posts from the guys, but we definitely miss Kelly."
Oubre injured his wrist in a terrifying fall against the Washington Wizards on April 9 and missed five games. Upon his return, Oubre worsened the injury against the Dallas Mavericks on April 27 and has not played since.
The Warriors released an update on Oubre's status on Thursday. They said the small avulsion and ligament tear in his wrist would not require surgery and that he would be re-examined next week.
Kerr and the warriors lost 3-2 in Oubre's absence. Bazemore have started the last five games averaging 8.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game at Oubres Sted.

Juan Toscano-Anderson, who is reportedly being promoted from a two-way contract to a standard NBA deal, has been incredibly valuable to the Warriors with his versatility throughout the season, but especially with Oubre.
The Warriors will almost certainly be in the play-in tournament, but in the playoffs a defensive player of Oubre's caliber will be vital.
All members of the Warriors organization hope that the swingman can return to the line-up by the end of the regular season.
