Stunning last-minute goalkeeper goal saves Liverpool's season

Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker may have saved the Liverpool season on Sunday. But not with a rescue. With a breathtaking goal in the 95th minute - the first goal by a goalkeeper in Liverpool:
Liverpool had to beat West Brom to keep hopes of making the Premier League top 4 and qualifying for next season's Champions League. With a 1-1 draw with four minutes of stoppage time, a disappointing season seemed to be heading for a disappointing conclusion.
But Alisson ran the full length of the field to join teammates in the box as Liverpool prepared for one final corner.
He hit Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross with an incredible header to give his team a 2-1 win.
His teammates bullied him. And then he bullied him again after the match. When they did it a second time, Alisson was in tears.

When asked to reflect on the post-game moment, he became emotional again as his thoughts were drawn to the memory of his late father. Jose Agostinho Becker drowned to death in Brazil earlier this year.
"Football is my life. I've been playing with my father for as long as I can remember as a person," Alisson said in a post-game interview. "I hope he was here to see it. But I'm sure he saw and celebrated with God on his side."
The win puts Liverpool within one point of fourth in Chelsea and within three points of third in Leicester City. With Chelsea and Leicester going up against each other in the penultimate round of the season on Tuesday, Liverpool knew on Sunday that if they won the last three games, they would have a very good chance of finishing in one of those crucial top four spots.
One down, two out - thanks to the goalkeeper.
