Sunisa Lee Celebrates Gymnastics Gold with a Dance Party — and Pizza! — in Her Room

Sunisa Lee has every reason to celebrate - and it seems like she's doing just that.
Lee, who became the first Hmong American gymnast to win Olympic gold in the women's individual all-around event on Thursday night, posted a TikTok video enjoying pizza and a dance lesson after her victory.
In the clip, Lee grooves and poses for an accelerated version of "Luxury" by Azealia Banks while showing off her new hardware and wearing a Team USA tracksuit. She wrote in the caption, "on top of the world rn."

Lee finished Thursday with 57.433, just ahead of Brazilian silver medalist Rebeca Andrade with 57.298 and Angelina Melnikova of the Russian Olympic Committee who finished with 57.199.
Turning to her teammate Simone Biles' stunning psychological exit, Lee admitted that "I didn't even think about fighting for a gold medal at this competition," noting that she was focused on getting silver to the presumed first place of Biles.

"I feel like I was behind her all season," she added, noting that she was trying not to focus or she "knew I was going to get too nervous".
Biles was still in the stands to support Lee and Jade Carey in their competition on Thursday. And she was quick to commend her teammate on social media for that historic win.
"CONGRATULATIONS PRINCESS? ✨✨ absolutely killed !!!" Biles wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the couple posing together after the team won silver in the team finals on Tuesday. "OLYMPIC CHAMPION HERE !!! So so incredibly proud of you !!!!"
