Swiss diplo dead after fall from flat in Iran
A senior Swiss diplomat was reportedly found dead in Tehran after falling from a skyscraper.
Iranian media cite emergency services and say she was the first secretary of the Swiss embassy and fell out of the building where she lived.
The Swiss Foreign Ministry did not identify the victim, but said an embassy employee died in an accident.
A spokesman for the Iranian ambulance service said the diplomat's body was found by a gardener.
That was after a staff member who arrived at her apartment early Tuesday realized she was missing, local news outlets say.
Switzerland has represented US diplomatic interests in Iran since Washington and Tehran cut ties shortly after the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
Iran and the world powers are continuing their renewed negotiations on their nuclear program.
