T.I.'s Daughter Deyjah Harris Reveals How His Controversial Hymen Comments Impacted Her
The daughter of T.I. is ready to express itself.
In a recent episode of T.I. & Tiny: Friends and family, Deyjah Harris told how her famous father's controversial comments about her hymen affected her. She also discussed where their relationship was.
"Things are completely uncomfortable for me at the moment," said Deyjah during a confessional interview. "We're all in this house together, so I have to see my father and be with him. And we're in a foreign country, so I can't go and go."

During her vacation, the 18-year-old said that she found out about her father's backlash after being tagged in a social media post. "I scroll on Twitter and see that I have been tagged in a post. The only word I saw was 'gynecologist' and I didn't even have to read the whole title because I only knew it. My heart sank."

The 18-year-old said she was "very shocked, hurt, angry [and] embarrassed" by her father's comments.
"I'm definitely embarrassed," Deyjah admitted to her cousins on family vacation. "I'm trying to get it in the back of my head. So I don't really think about it ... but I've been doing it since [I] was a kid who's got stuff with it ... It's definitely been going on for probably 14 or 15. "
"I think my father treats me differently from the boys when it comes to sex and supervision ... I won't really be able to reach him [and] connect as I have to," Deyjah continued. "I just don't care if I'm around. I'll see our relationship differently."
Holding back the tears, she said, "This situation is just a little traumatic for me."
Last November, T.I. received a backlash after revealing that he was going to her gynecological appointment with Deyjah. During an interview with the podcast "Ladies Like Us", the 39-year-old rapper was asked whether he "had the sex talk" with his daughters.
"Have I? We're leaving ... Deyjahs 18, just graduated from high school, now she's in her first year of study and finding out for herself," said T.I. replied. "And yes, we didn't just have the conversation ... we have annual trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen."
In the same interview, T.I. remembered a doctor's visit to his daughter on her 16th birthday that he noticed.
"Right after the birthday we celebrate ... usually the day after the party she enjoys her presents. I put a sticky note on the door, 'Gyno, tomorrow, 9:30 a.m." T.I. divided. "We will sit down and the doctor will come and talk and you know the doctors are maintaining a high level of professionalism. He says, 'Well, you know, sir, so I can exchange information ...' I say: "Deyjah, they want you to sign this ... so we can exchange information. Is there something I shouldn't know?" "
T.I. & Little friends & family hype
"I said, 'Look, Doc, she doesn't ride horses, she doesn't ride a bike, she doesn't play sports, man, just check the hymen and give me my results back quickly." T.I. Continuation. "But I will say that her hymen is still intact from her 18th birthday."
After the backlash, the rapper broke his silence during an appearance on Red Table Talk with his wife Tiny.
"I came to clear up any misunderstandings that relate to how we interact, how we are parents, and what is appropriate and inappropriate," said T.I. said. "I think all of this surrounds a conversation that I had very jokingly when asked how to deal with parents these days. So I just started from a place of truth, I started to beautify and to exaggerate. "
"And I think a lot of people took it very literally because when you express my reputation for who I am as a father, who I was, I honestly thought people knew me better than that." he continued. "However, I think my intentions have been terribly misinterpreted and misunderstood."
