The YouTuber expanded the statement in an Instagram post that included several Pride-themed pictures, including a picture of rumored girlfriend Noah Cyrus, a rainbow rat and Spongebob who may have recently joined the LGBTQ + community.
"I never thought I would be brave enough to publicly share my sexuality as I do now ..." she wrote, admitting that she had had to deal with people in the past who said she was straight or "discrediting" her relationships with girls.
"But I am proud not only to be a member but also an ally of the LGBTQIA + community, and I am proud to say that I will live my life loving people not because of their gender but because of their soul." , she continued. "Some people call it pansexuality, everyone calls me bi, I personally don't find it necessary to label everything. Love and sexuality are less gender-specific for me."
Tana has had many high-profile relationships with both men and women in the past. She had been with Bella Thorne and YouTuber Brad Sousa for a while. And of course there was their controversial relationship and marriage to Jake Paul. There have also been rumors that she is with Noah, but they have not been confirmed.
In her note, Tana addresses being called both pansexual and bisexual. The term "bisexual" is often misinterpreted to mean that the person is attracted to "men and women". In reality, "bisexual" is defined as "the potential to be attracted to people of more than one gender and / or gender - romantic and / or sexual". "Pansexual" is under the bisexual umbrella of GLAAD and means "to be attracted to everyone" gender identities or to people regardless of gender. "As Tana said, she doesn't need to label her sexuality, but she just loves souls.
