Tarek El Moussa Breaks His Silence on Christina Anstead's Divorce From Ant Anstead

Tarek El Moussa tries to keep things professional.
The week-long countdown for new episodes of Flip or Flop on HGTV has begun. And while fans are thrilled to see Tarek and ex-wife Christina Anstead tackling new homes in need of serious improvement, they can't ignore recent headlines either.
Less than three weeks after Christina announced her separation from Ant Anstead, her ex-husband addresses the news.
"I prefer to just stay out of it," Tarek told E! News.
At the same time, the Flipping 101 star knows why fans are so curious. Many have watched Christina and Tarek's relationship since the show premiered back in 2013.
"For most fans, it's more than just a real estate fair," said Tarek. "We've been doing this for so long. People have seen children born, people saw us raise children, they saw us divorced, they know us. They have followed our lives for almost 10 years Years. You feel like her. " I'm part of what makes sense. "

Ultimately, Tarek continues to focus on transforming rundown property into someone else's dream home. In the new episodes that kick off October 15, fans will see Christina focus on design while Tarek works with contractors to help find, finance, and sell the homes.

"We had our biggest project of the season - a 5,000-square-foot home and we spent over $ 300,000 on the remodeling," Tarek teased. "Bigger projects, bigger budgets, bigger designs, more profits: it's going to be a good season."
And before any new episodes begin, there was a very special episode of Flipping 101 that aired on October 8th. Yes, we're talking about the scenes when Tarek made a proposal to his girlfriend, Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young.
"We saw it and it came out super, super cute," said the homemade real estate investor. "We're just thrilled to be able to share it with the world."
If they want to get married, fans just have to be patient. "We definitely want to do it in 2021," said Tarek. "It will be mid to late 2021. We want it to be a special experience and we would like to get engaged."
Until then, Tarek will count his blessings and look back on his achievements that surpass any renovation of a house.
"I am so grateful for life," he announced. "I'm healthier than ever. I've survived cancer twice. My divorce almost killed me and for five or six years of my life I've been a really sick guy and today I'm just grateful to be alive and being alive and beating cancer and." thrive. "
