‘Teen Mom’ star Tyler Baltierra shares progress pics after losing 24 pounds in 4 months

Tyler Baltierra shared another milestone in his fitness journey.
Baltierra posted two shirtless pictures to Instagram on Thursday, Aug. 11, showing his health transformation during what he has dubbed "cutting season" in March and early August.
"OFFICIALLY DONE with this cut and I've managed to lose 24 LBS while maintaining the strength I've built while gaining weight!" He wrote, adding, "I'm pretty happy with the results . It makes me even more pumped to see how the next cut goes after I'm done bulking again!"

The '16 and Pregnant' and 'Teen Mom OG' star - who is married to Catelynn Lowell - has shared several updates on his health and fitness routine on his Instagram. This time he changed things up with his routine, explaining, "I've decided to change my goals a bit and focus more on aesthetics/muscle building for this next bulking cycle, rather than strength building (like I've done before ). ”
"I still have a long way to go before I reach my ultimate goal, but I've promised myself that I'll post more about my fitness journey because it helps me be accountable and I get questions from you guys all the time, lol," he added, before thanking his trainer and nutritionist for their support with his transformation.
Baltierra has been keeping fans updated on his health and fitness journey on Instagram for over a year. In June 2021, he posted a year-long update on social media, writing that his goal was "to build as much muscle mass as possible with as little fat as possible."
In January 2022, he celebrated his 30th birthday with a video montage on Instagram showing some of his workouts as well as the progress of his fitness transformation. In the caption, he reflected on his 20s and what awaits him in his new decade of life, writing: "I turned 30 yesterday and the way I ended the last year of my 20s is exactly how I'm spending that turning 30 in my first year... by setting and achieving my lifelong goals.”
Six months later in June, the father-of-four shared an update on Instagram while he was cut after four months. He posted a side-by-side before and after picture, sharing how he looked in June compared to late March. Though he still had over two months to go, he wrote that he was "fairly pleased" with his progress.
"I'm thinking of another 2 years with the same consistency and hopefully I'll get close to my goal," he said. "All I know is that I'm not stopping now... this is still just the beginning for me. Let's go!"
In a candid post on June 23, he also opened up about his own struggles with body image, writing, "All my life I've hated my ectomorph body. I've always been known as "the skinny guy" and I never gained weight!"
"I wouldn't even take my shirt off because I always thought I looked sickly skinny and I hated my bony chest so much I went swimming with my shirt on lol," he said. "So I may not be where I want to be yet (still have work to do) but I'm just trying to enjoy all the little wins I notice along the way."
