Teens accidentally solve murder mystery during routine outing: 'This is freaky'
During a routine randonauting session, a group of teenagers in Seattle, Washington, came across a mysterious, abandoned suitcase containing human remains.
For those who are not familiar with the term, "Randonauting" uses a random number generator to determine specific coordinates in your region. (More on this here.)
On June 21, one of the teenagers involved in the incident, Henry, released a video of what happened on TikTok.
"Randonaut sent us to this part of the beach ... and we found this black suitcase," said Henry in the video. "We joked that the suitcase might have money."
When Henry and his friends get closer to the suitcase, you can hear Henry saying: "It stinks, all of you."
When the case was fully open, Henry said the smell was "overwhelming".
Eventually Henry and his friends, who were "a little scared and nervous" decided to call the police to see if it was actually a body or if it was just food.
Well, as Henry later found out, there was actually a body in the suitcase. According to a Seattle Police News report, police found "several bags of human remains" in the area where Henry and his friends found the case.
Of course, people are troubled by Henry's discovery - especially since Randonautica led him there.
"Okay, but the fact that RANDONAUT led her there is just crazy !!!!" said one person.
"Hell close ... that's fucking crazy," commented another user.
“It's kind of sad and happy. Someone made you find their remains so they could finally find peace, ”noted a third user. "A little dark, but a little poetic."
Some TikTok users speculate that the body is the work of a serial killer in the Seattle area, although the police have not yet commented on it.
