Texas Teenager's Long Legs Breaks Two World Records
A Texas teenager was made in the history books by simply being herself.
17-year-old Maci Currin from Cedar Park, Texas broke two Guinness world records for having incredibly long legs. Currin's legs take up roughly 60 percent of her body, which allows her to have the record for the longest legs in a woman and to be the teen with the longest legs in the world.
The 6'10 "teen's left leg is over 53" long while the right leg is slightly shorter at 52.874 ". Currin's size seems to run in the family. Although her mother is only 5'7", her father is 6 '. 5 "and her brother is 6'4".
"I think there's some kind of gene in it that gives it that size," her mother said on a YouTube video announcing her recordings.
Currin went on to say that being so big is a liberating experience. She uses her TikTok and other social media platforms to adjust to her size and document her path to building confidence.
“About my sophomore year, I just stopped caring about what people thought of me. And when I just stopped caring, I wasn't affected,” she told Guinness. "I hope tall women can see that greatness is a gift. And that you shouldn't be ashamed of being tall. You really should embrace it."
