Textron Aviation’s newest plane flies for the first time

Textron Aviation's newest aircraft in Wichita is now in the air. Local division Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) celebrated the maiden voyage of its single-engine turbo-prop Beechcraft Denali on Tuesday. Powered by GE Aviation's new Catalyst engine, the aircraft took off from the company's facilities at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday morning and flew for nearly three hours.
