The disturbing voicemail D.C. Officer Michael Fanone received while testifying about Jan. 6 insurrection

On Don Lemon Tonight Tuesday, not long after testifying at the House Committee's first hearing to investigate the Capitol Rising, the D.C. Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone received a disturbing voicemail from a stranger while he was testifying. But not before a serious warning from host Don Lemon.
“It contains incredibly offensive language, but we believe people need to hear the kind of attacks these officers are facing right now. Just to tell the truth about January 6th, ”Lemon said before playing the nearly a minute long voicemail filled with expletives and abusive language directed at Fanone and other police officers.
Some Republicans have recently claimed there was no armed riot, an attitude Fanone described as "shameful" during his testimony on Tuesday, and why he said voicemail like this can and does happen.
"I remember my first reaction immediately after hearing that call," Fanone said. "It happens to people who are telling the truth in Trump's America."
