The New #1 Movie on Netflix Arrived Just in Time for Halloween

Adam Sandler's latest film premiered on Netflix yesterday and has already dethroned American Murder: The Family Next Door as its most watched film.
Introducing Hubie Halloween, a comedy horror film that Sandler co-wrote (so not exactly kid-friendly). Despite being on the streaming service for less than 48 hours, it's currently number one on Netflix's list of movies.
Set on Halloween night in Salem, Massachusetts, the film follows a man named Hubie Dubois (Sandler). Although he regularly plays pranks on the city's citizens, he takes the annual holidays very seriously and volunteers as a patrol unit to make sure everyone is safe.
Suddenly in the middle of a real-life murder investigation, Hubie is forced to get creative as he tries to convince the police that monsters do indeed exist.
In addition to Sandler, Hubie Halloween has an all-star cast including Kevin James (Sgt. Steve Downing), Julie Bowen (Violet Valentine), Ray Liotta (Mr. Landolfa), Rob Schneider (Richie Hartman), and June Squibb (Hubie's ) Mother), Kenan Thompson (Sgt.Blake), Shaquille O'Neal (DJ Aurora), Steve Buscemi (Walter Lambert), Maya Rudolph (Mrs. Hennessey), Michael Chiklis (Father Dave), Tim Meadows (Mr. Lester Hennessey), Karan Brar (Deli Mike Mundi), George Wallace (Mayor Benson) and Noah Schnapp (Tommy).
The film was directed by Steven Brill (Little Nicky). Sandler was executive producer alongside Kevin Grady (Grown Ups) and Allen Covert (Happy Gilmore). The film is dedicated to the memory of actor Cameron Boyce.
Nice to meet you, Hubie.
