‘The View’s Whoopi Goldberg & Meghan McCain Apologize Biden-Style After On-Air Temper Flare

Whoopi Goldberg and Meghan McCain discussed Joe Biden's outburst of temper after Putin and the subsequent apology for more or less reenacting the President's Pique episode.
In today's The View, McCain tore up Biden's press conference yesterday, saying that the President's angry reaction to CNN's Kaitlan Collins would have been widely condemned by the press if the same reaction had come from former President Donald Trump.

When Goldberg began to counter that Biden was making a very un-Trump-like apology, McCain interrupted by saying, "With all due respect, I don't care if he apologizes."
Goldberg, visibly disturbed by the interruption, replied, "I don't care that you don't care," to which McCain shot back, "Well, I don't care that you don't care, Whoopi, so we even are."
"Well, Meghan," snapped Goldberg, "then you can be who you always are."
"You can be who you always are," McCain said.
The show then went on a commercial break after which Goldberg apologized for being "rude," with McCain doing the same.
"I want to apologize for being rude," said Goldberg. "I didn't have to say what I said and I apologize for not wanting to act like that at work."
"Well, I apologize too, Whoopie," McCain said. "Cool," replied Goldberg.
