Sensorio's light field, which is hidden in central California, has more than 58,800 “stem balls that are illuminated by glass fibers”. The solar-powered stalk lights, which resemble flowers, illuminate a 15-hectare field. The extensive light field is an ethereal experience and transforms colors, which gives the landscape a wavy effect. Basically, you would go through works of art.
From June 12, the light field is open until January 3. To prevent the spread of COVID-29, new safety protocols are introduced that meet local health requirements. According to the Sensorio website, the safety precautions include a time-controlled ticket entry, no ticket sales on site, a one-way path through the field, mask covers and the limitation of the group size to a maximum of six people. Employees will also enforce and monitor social distancing measures. Before entering, guests must sign a document to confirm that they currently have no COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, or knowingly come into contact with anyone who has had these symptoms in the past 14 days.
Tickets for the light fields are available online. General admission starts at $ 30 and includes field access and a communal area with live music, local beer, wine, and groceries. Do you want the ultimate experience? For $ 79, you can buy VIP tickets that include access to an exclusive outdoor terrace and an Airstream bar.
If you don't want to wait until Christmas to see breathtaking light shows, get tickets for the Field of Light here and book a stay in Paso Robles here.
