This Expensive-Looking H&M Top Is the First Thing I've Bought in Months

As for high street labels, I have to say that I was very impressed with the selection at H & M this summer. From bright colors to dresses with puffy sleeves, the brand has created an upscale range of polished, expensive-looking pieces that appear to be of much higher quality than their very reasonable price tags.
In fact, some of the pieces in the brand's recent collection could easily be mistaken for designers and have already attracted the attention of several well-known influencers. The H & M crinkled wrapover blouse made of airy cotton blend was worn by both Katherine Ormerod and Claire Wakeman and happens to be the only purchase I made during the lockdown. With a woven texture and oversized puff sleeves, the top resembles a designer piece found at Net-a-Porter, created by an up-and-coming contemporary brand, but available at retail at a fraction of the price. Together with the matching skirt, the blouse is high enough to lead you to an unusual event. But it also goes well with denim shorts for a picnic or a walk in the summer evening.
Unconvinced? Keep scrolling to see how some style H & M's crinkled wrapover blouse, and then buy the following piece.
Buy the blouse and matching skirt:
