This Is the Horror Villain Who Probably Still Haunts You, Research Shows
Everyone has a horror movie permanently engraved on their psyche, whether you fail to repeat the word "Candyman" or still avoid swimming in the lake after watching Friday the 13th. However, a new poll shows that there is one horror movie villain who is more likely to live rent-free in your brain than anyone else. According to the 2020 edition of Frontier Bundles' Most Popular Horror Movie Villain by State, the most wanted horror movie villain in the U.S. is none other than Frankenstein's Monster.
The survey looked at 12 months worth of Google searches for 15 popular horror movie villains and found that these were the ones most people can't shake off. The results showed that Frankenstein's monster was the most wanted villain in 11 of the 50 states.
Last year, The Shining's Jack Torrance was the # 1 Most Wanted Villain in 10 states.
