Like all other vans from Storyteller Overland, Beast Mode is based on the passenger configuration of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It is powered by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 that is coupled with a seven-speed automatic transmission that transfers the power to all four wheels. COPs aren't listed, but the standard Sprinter's mill can produce a solid 188 horsepower and 325 ft lbs of torque. That means it's more than beefy enough for serious 4 × 4 action and can pull up to 5,000 pounds if you want to add a trailer. The suspension of the vehicle has been upgraded with Fox shock absorbers, which increase the ground clearance by 10 cm. It also comes with an electronic traction system that allows for a smoother ride, even on the most treacherous of surfaces.

The Beast mode looks good too, with a design and exterior features that make it clear that there is all terrain to be conquered here. The van is available in either Arctic White or Pebble Gray and both are accented with the trademark in red, orange and yellow. It's also equipped with a roof rack, side pipe ladder, and a set of custom wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich K02 tires. There is also a powerful lighting package including LED headlights so that you can see where you want to go well into the night.

Beast mode won't always be on the move, however, and the brand has made sure the van is well equipped for your downtime. Behind the swiveling front seats is a kitchen with an induction hob, refrigerator and microwave. In addition, a GrooveLounge seating area can be used as a workplace or converted into a bed with space for two people. There is also a portable toilet and a HALO shower. The interior has also been designed with plenty of storage space and plenty of sockets and connections to keep you powered. These, along with the air conditioning and heating system, are fed by a 12 kW battery, which draws its juice from a number of roof-mounted solar panels. There are also screens and privacy curtains to keep bugs and prying eyes out at night.
