Tiger Woods seen putting weight on legs for first time since February car crash
Tiger Woods was spotted in Los Angeles on Wednesday for the first time since his February 23 car accident with photos first received from TMZ putting weight on his legs.
Woods, 45, was spotted with his girlfriend Erica Herman outside a Beverly Hills hotel putting heavy weight on his legs with crutches and even walking a bit.
As a result of the crash, Woods underwent surgery to repair open fractures in both the upper and lower portions of the tibia and the fibula bones in his right leg, which were stabilized by inserting a rod into the tibia.
Last week at the PGA Tour's 3M Open, Rickie Fowler said Woods "copied" the rehab process Woods said was "more painful than anything I've ever been through." TMZ's photos confirm that Woods actually put into the work during rehab, though a return to professional golf is still in the air.
