Tom Brady is an NFC Pro Bowl snub
Today Tom Brady was a 14-time pro bowler. He still is.
Somewhat surprisingly, Brady isn't one of the NFC's three Pro Bowl quarterbacks. Instead, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray received the award.
Brady, in his freshman year as an NFC quarterback, is currently second in the NFC with 3,886 points. At 32 he is third in touchdowns. With 97.5 he is sixth in the passerby ranking ahead of Murray.
Murray brings scary running skills to the table, however, and that clearly made all the difference. As a passerby, Brady is definitely one of the top three quarterbacks in the NFC.
It's ironic, of course, that Brady made it this year. For all previous years, Brady has found a way not to go. This year when there is no game and therefore no reason to avoid the game, Brady didn't make it.
