Tom Brady usually follows a strict diet that excludes foods like dairy, some fruits and some meat.
But the 45-year-old NFL quarterback says he reserves one day a year to say "fuck it" to his diet.
He said Thanksgiving is the day he can "eat like everyone else."
Tom Brady says Thanksgiving is the only day of the year he cheats on his strict diet.
The 45-year-old NFL quarterback said he's enjoying the holidays by speaking during an episode of his podcast, Let's Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray" said about his diet, "Fuck it."

During the podcast, guest Oprah Winfrey asked Brady what kind of food he could eat at the Thanksgiving table.
"Just like everyone else," Brady replied. "That's the one meal where I'm like fuck it, let's do it. And we can all enjoy it.”
Brady's normal diet excludes most holiday treats
Brady has declared several major food groups totally off-limits, including dairy, sugar, gluten, refined carbohydrates, caffeine, processed meats, and some fruits and vegetables like strawberries, eggplant, and tomatoes, according to his 2017 book, The TB12 Method," which he spun off into a health and wellness brand along with his longtime body coach, Mark Guerrero.
Brady's regular food intake includes eating "alkalizing" foods — which naturally have a low pH to reduce inflammation.
Brady said he's looking forward to further relaxing his lifestyle
Brady said his strict lifestyle and the TB12 method helped him play at an elite level well into his 40s.
Last year, Brady said he looks forward to having "some of those more normal vacations" — pampering himself and spending time with family — once he retires. He said he only has four hours on Thanksgiving and Christmas to enjoy dinner with relatives.
"Workout usually ends around 1 or 2 p.m., you eat around 3:30 p.m., and then you get ready for the next day of exercise," Brady said during his podcast.
