Tourists visit sand nativity scene in Gran Canaria

Eight artists from different countries completed the cribs on Friday (December 3rd) after a week on the island.
Since 2006 artists from all over the world have been coming to take part in the event to kick off the Christmas season with warm weather and a mild 22 degrees Celsius.
The exhibition attracts thousands of visitors every year and in the past 15 years it has been visited at least 200,000 people, according to the organizers.
A huge wall of sand protects the sculptures, which will be dismantled on January 7th.
