Travis Scott said he is raising his and Kylie Jenner's daughter Stormi Webster to be a "strong" woman who knows she has equal rights.
"I think it's far more important now to protect our young black daughters, women," he said during an episode of .WAV Radio on Wednesday.
The rapper continued, "Now, more than ever, it's like they have the vision. Whether it's for anything a man can do, anything a woman can do. You have the pure vision."

Travis Scott does his part to ensure that his and Kylie Jenner's 2 year old daughter Stormi Webster grows into a "strong" woman.
The 29-year-old musician spoke on .WAV Radio on Wednesday about his desire to teach Stormi that she can "do everything a man can".
“I think it is much more important now to protect our young black daughters, women,” he said, and continued, “Make sure they have the knowledge of how to carry yourself, how to be in this world moves how strong one is. " how not even to be afraid to take that risk on an idea. "
Scott added, "Now, more than ever, it is like you have the vision. Whether for anything a man can do, anything a woman can do. You have the pure vision."
The Houston-born rapper has expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement and campaigned for police reform in the United States.
He has also donated money for causes that are important to him.
He recently offered to pay a semester of tuition for five students attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), telling fans that his father attended Prairie View A&M University and his mother attended Grambling State University.
And after Alabama Republican Governor Kay Ivey signed a law effectively banning abortion in the state in May 2019, Scott donated the proceeds of goods sold at the Hangout Music Festival to Alabama's Planned Parenthood.
Although Stormi is only 2 years old, the rapper told "SICKO MODE" that he had already informed her about current events and women's rights.
"It's amazing to see my daughter grow," he told GQ in August. "I keep you up to date on what's going on in the world. As a parent, I always impart knowledge, even at this age."
While Scott and Jenner officially split in October 2019, they continue to share their daughter. Three months after their split, Scott told XXL Magazine that he would "always" love the reality star.
"Your mom and I came up with the name Stormi together. I love her mom and always will," he said, adding, "The hard part about relationships is just trying to be in one without that a million outside voices get involved. "
Despite their decision to split up, Scott said he spent a lot of time with his daughter and stated that fatherhood "turned out to be better than I thought".
"Stormi is one of the best people I know. She's like my best friend. She makes life a little easier. She just inspires me and surprises me with her way of thinking every day," he said. "It's so crazy."
