Trevor Noah Shows Why Donald Trump 'Might Be More Ignorant Than We Thought'
President Donald Trump "could be even more ignorant than we thought," Trevor Noah proclaimed on Thursday in The Daily Show.
In a section on former National Security Advisor John Bolton's new anthology, Noah focused on unpublished excerpts from the New York Times and Washington Post, highlighting the President's lack of knowledge. Bolton wrote in "The Room Where It Happened" that Trump didn't know Britain was a nuclear power and asked if Finland was part of Russia.
"Sweet sir," said a stunned Noah. "How do you become President of the United States without knowing if Finland is your own country? I don't expect much from Trump, but if he doesn't even know anything about the white countries, what chance does Papua New Guinea have? "
The host reminded Bolton's doubters that the man is not a leftist who wants to defeat the opposition. He is "as republican as an assault rifle and lectures on trickle-down economics," joked Noah.
