Trudeau hammers rival on last day of campaign

In the final hours before the Canadian election on Monday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gave voters one final pitch and said on Sunday that only his Liberals could end the COVID-19 pandemic.
Opinion polls show that Trudeau, who has been in office since 2015, is ahead of his rivals - among them Conservative Party leader Erin O'Toole.
Trudeau has stepped up its attacks on O’Toole, accusing him of taking the wrong approach to tackling the health crisis.
