Democratic and Republican congressional leaders have finally agreed on another comprehensive aid package from Covid after almost nine months of largely stalled negotiations and disputes.
The deal, which has an initial estimate of around $ 900 billion, is the culmination of the eleventh hour talks held last week between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Chairman Chuck Schumer and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Minority Leader Kevin, The Treasury Secretary of McCarthy and Donald Trump, Steve Mnuchin, on the other hand.
The president, meanwhile, was forced to refuse conspiracy to impose martial law during a meeting at the White House in order to reverse his November election defeat. The meeting also reportedly addressed the appointment of controversial attorney Sidney Powell as special adviser.
