Trump Reportedly Made A Bonkers Air Force One Offer To Kim Jong Un

Former President Donald Trump is said to have made an unusual offer to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un during his 2019 summit in Hanoi.
"President Trump offered Kim to take Air Force One home," Matthew Pottinger, the leading Asia expert on Trump's National Security Council, told the BBC.
What made the situation even stranger was the fact that talks between the United States and North Korea had collapsed when the two leaders reached an impasse in Pyongyang's nuclear program. But when he left, Trump offered Kim a free ride on the most famous and safest airplane in the world.
"The president knew that Kim had arrived in Hanoi on a multi-day train journey through China, and the president said," I can get you home in two hours if you want, "said Pottinger." Kim refused. "
According to the BBC, Trump's helpers were "stunned" by the offer.

Trump began his tenure by calling Kim "Little Rocket Man". In August 2017, Trump threatened North Korea with "fire and anger". Just a month later, in a speech at the United Nations, he vowed to "completely destroy" the nation.
Kim shot back with a threat of his own.
"I will certainly tame the deranged Dotard with fire," Kim said in a statement.
But Trump quickly changed his tune after the two met.
"And then we fell in love, OK?" Trump said in 2018, “No really. He wrote me beautiful letters and they are great letters. We fell in love. "
The two leaders eventually met three times in person, including a case where Trump became the first seated U.S. President to walk into North Korea after crossing the border during a meeting in the demilitarized zone.
